Geolocated Management of Emergency Teams

It is unfortunately well-known that public-access areas in large buildings, both indoor and outdoor, can become the scene of critical events. These incidents sometimes occur suddenly, threatening the health of those present (e.g., fires, serious accidents, medical emergencies, etc.), and may require immediate intervention.

To facilitate a quicker and more efficient response from emergency teams, TapMyLife has developed a localization technology for use by designated personnel. This technology is capable of locating operators and users in distress situations, as well as directing and guiding emergency teams to the affected area.

The system is based on a smartphone application that can be downloaded onto devices provided to on-duty staff. It features a panic button that, when a risk situation occurs, enables the immediate dispatch of an alert to a designated control room and real-time visualization on a building map of the exact location of the critical event.

The application can display the quickest route to the critical event location, show on the building map the positions of devices essential for emergency resolution (defibrillators, fire extinguishers, hydrants, etc.), and provide an immediate communication channel between the control room and emergency teams via push messages.

Additionally, the system offers complete traceability of the alarm management process, highlighting each event in the process (issuance, receipt, reading, handling, and closure) and recording them for post-event reconstruction.

With this solution, TapMyLife enhances the management of emergency teams in public-access facilities, both in terms of organizational efficiency and improvement of response and intervention times for operators.
