Italian Union of Blind and visually impaired people Emilia Romagna
The Italian Union Blind and Visually Impaired people in Emilia Romagna rewards TapMyLife.
TapMyLife’s “health for all” project receives a patronage from the Italian Union of Blind and Visually Impaired People in Emilia Romagna, one of the most active and organized realities in Italy.
On the eve of the opening of Exposanità in Bologna on 18/20 April, TapMyLife joined an important co-planning and awareness-raising campaign at some of the most important healthcare facilities in Italy. the precious contribution of the blind association of Piacenza and of the entire Emilia Romagna, which sponsored the TapMyLife initiative, continues its action in the name of real accessibility of hospitals: a concept of civilization that should not be interpreted as a service aimed at people with different abilities or with visual or motor difficulties, but as a new one philosophy of access to public places that have the duty to be accessible autonomously and comfortably by all categories of citizens. The board of directors of Emilia Romagna therefore wanted to certify the effectiveness of the TapMyLife project which has already received, among others, the European Commission’s Seal of Excellence.
“The patronage by the Blind and Visually Impaired Union of Emilia Romagna, one of the most advanced regions of Italy in this sector, can only make us proud and grateful for this collaboration that is spreading like wildfire as evidence of to what extent consolidated and certified experiences of this type are the basis for any true hospitality policy by health facilities. “
