CASTELLANZA – Connecting the world of research with that of business. This is the goal of the programmatic manifesto, Connecting Minds, which was created after a day of meetings at LIUC – Università Cattaneo, attended by companies such as Vibram, Pernod Ricard, P&G Alumni, TapMyLife, Solventum, ATS Valpadana, Lati, and Efeso. The opportunity arose from the collaboration between the Doctoral School and LIUC Alumni.
Experts from sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, consumer goods, and public administration, together with doctoral students from all three years of the LIUC program, discussed frontier challenges on the most relevant topics of the moment and identified project ideas that combine relevance and impact for the industrial world with the unique contribution of scientific research.
‘The Manifesto is evidence that when new adventures are undertaken to address frontier challenges with a collaborative and synergistic approach, the industrial and research worlds have no limits,’ commented Alessandro Creazza, Coordinator of the Ph.D. Program in Management, Finance, and Accounting at LIUC.
‘The joint initiative with the Doctoral School represents a further distinctive element of the program that the Association has laid out for its three-year activities,’ concluded Luca Cremona, President of the LIUC Alumni Association.

Among the topics requiring connection is the need for digital transformation in healthcare, understood as enhancing the ability to leverage information to improve the efficiency and accessibility of the National Health System.
The manifesto aims to study the enabling factors of sustainability, considering the trade-offs between economic, social, and environmental aspects, and to understand the implications along the entire supply chain to benefit the end consumer.
