The Company
The Gaetano Pini Orthopedic Institute is a hospital facility located in the city of Milan and is part of the ASST Gaetano Pini-CTO, along with the CTO of Milan and the Polo Fanny Finzi Ottolenghi. It is one of the oldest orthopedic institutes in Italy.
Its origins date back to the “Pio Istituto dei Rachitici,” founded in 1874 by Gaetano Pini with the aim of treating many children suffering from rickets at that time, and the “Ambulatorio ortopedico” established by his collaborator Pietro Panzeri.
The Institute, now known as Presidio Pini, is considered one of the national centers of excellence for the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and rheumatological conditions.
