PRESENTED IN NAPLES IN THE PRESENCE OF THE MINISTER OF CULTURE ‘NAPP4ALL’: TAPMYLIFE APPLICATION FOR MUSEUM ACCESSIBILITY.

An ambitious project, ranked first in the ranking of southern regions elaborated by the Ministry of Culture regarding the Call for the removal of physical, sensory, and cognitive barriers in museums and cultural places. The development of ‘Museo for All‘, which finds its digital expression in ‘NAPP4ALL‘ by TapMyLife, is the result of a successful synergy among associations, non-profit organizations, institutions, high-level professionals, both local and national, who have effectively interpreted the mission that has characterized the Arciconfraternita dei Pellegrini since its foundation: to create a space of welcome and cultural and human growth in the heart of the city of Naples, open to everyone and particularly to vulnerable individuals.

The presented application guides visitors to explore the hidden secrets of one of the most fascinating museums in Naples with tours dedicated to inclusivity through indoor navigation: from narrated tours for the visually impaired to those for the hearing impaired (featuring videos in Italian Sign Language), accompanied by accessible routes for wheelchair users or those who simply prefer not to use stairs.

The application takes the visitor on an exciting journey through centuries of history and art by connecting a series of carefully selected points of interest. It captivates with the richness of artifacts, the authenticity of religious devotion testimonies, and the charm of ancient rituals in the city of Naples. Of particular interest are the museum’s extraordinary collections, from ancient relics to artworks whose stories are narrated by the app’s audio guide.
