Examining the content of discussions related to the measures and investments outlined in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), as well as in Ministerial Decrees DM 77 and D70, three key strategic areas emerge: chronic conditions, local care, and proximity care. Although seemingly distinct, these areas converge to address crucial challenges that will determine the future of national healthcare.
Perhaps the most difficult problem, both socially and epidemiologically, considering the progressive aging of the Italian population, appears to be chronic conditions. To seek solutions to the complex needs of the healthcare system, AIIC has organized a conference to discuss and build a national digital ecosystem, involving professionals and policymakers.
